Lena Obergfell was born in Hamburg, Germany  and currently lives in Sydney, Australia. Lena is an artist working with video, installation, photography and kinetic sculpture.  Her work explores ideas concerning alienation, foreign-ness, waste and reclamation. She is currently completing a PhD at the College of Fine Arts UNSW and is a passionate collector of rubbish and yellow raincoats.
