Narrative Thread

Develop a story about an unusual event that has taken place on the wasteland beginning with the techniques of a private detective. Blend the products of your imagination with the hard facts.

1. Identify material or clues that you could use to build a story through speaking with other users of the site and exploration.

2. Collect material through photography, sketches, lifting fragments and chatting with users of the site. Explain that you are building a narrative thread. Look for cause and effect, action and reaction. Material could be analysed either on-site or in ?the lab?.

3. Organise your findings and attempt to create a sequence of events. Upload your data and conclusions onto the web.

Many successful detectives operate as a partnership ? you may want to share your data with others to bounce ideas and develop twists in the narrative.
