Current Land Owner - Additional Info

Known intended future use by the land owner(s)

We were told that some party has proposed to the city council to utilise the land.

Historical (basic)

The land was previously (upto 2 years back) a piece of swamp or low level reclaimed land adjacent to the now abandoned mining lake (for tin).  A local resident named Pak Din, told us that he has been planting vegetable such as bananas, sugarcane etc on that land since 7/8 years back.

As it was previously adjacent to a driver-learners training range towards the main road of Jalan Genting Klang, which is under the jurisdiction of the Land and Transportation Department, it is assumed the land was previously under the ownership of the city council.

It was later developed by a commercial developer into the current Plaza CrystalVille. And during the period of construction, the identified triangular area by the team, was according to Pak Din, used to build temporary housing for the construction workers working on the site.  According to Pak Din, the site was also topped up with 4 to 5 feet of soil from the original level by the developer during the construction period.
